I am the Trial Dog. I started this blog to showcase my legal expertise, technical knowledge, and trial skills. As a three-time, board-certified criminal trial attorney in Florida with over 20-years of experience, I have a lot to offer in terms of legal analysis and commentary on a wide range of legal topics from trial strategy and tactics to winning appellate arguments, from constitutional issues to federal court issues, from criminal law to estate planning, and everything in between. From time to time, I will offer an opinion or two about “hot button” legal issues in the media like certain blockbuster United States Supreme Court opinions, legal trends, recent appellate cases effecting topics such as mandatory minimums or recidivism sentencing schemes, or a news media worthy criminal trial locally in Florida or nationally. I encourage my reads to respond and respectfully comment on these blogs. If you have any issue you would like me to consider writing about, please indicate it in the comments.
